The objectives are to 1) identify seismic lines that may resolve the Edwards-Trinity formations in the study area and 2) lease select seismic lines to contribute to the structural understanding of the Aquifer.

Stakeholders will have access to a report displaying seismic lines demonstrating the structural characteristic of the Edwards-Trinity (Plateau) Aquifer in Kinney County. The report will include geologic analysis tying outcrop geology to subsurface well logs and 2D seismic data.

Project Status
Seismic data has been leased and is undergoing reprocessing. Relevant well log data has been identified and loaded into a seismic interpretation software project. Formation surfaces of the Trinity Group have been interpreted in Time z-scale. Geologic background chapter is currently being drafted.
