The projects which are found in the interactive dashboard below have been committed by the Texas Water Development Board. This data is current through the end of the previous month.

Definitions

Texas Water Development Board

Flood Infrastructure Fund
Committed
Projects that have been approved by the TWDB to receive funding.
Responsible Authority
The entity which will sponsor and assume responsibility for the project
Commitment Type
The method of funding, either through grants or loans
Category Type
The financial assistance categories of each project. There are four categories:
  • Category 1: Flood Protection Planning for Watersheds ("flood control planning" before a flood event)
  • Category 2: Planning, Acquisition, Design, Construction, Rehabilitation (All combinations of these activities)
  • Category 3: Federal Award Matching Funds
  • Category 4: Measures immediately effective in protecting life and property
Grants (installments)
Are considered "closed" once the grant agreement has been executed and the loan accountant has changed the commitment status from "commitment" to "active."
Grants (escrow)
Are considered "closed" once the funds have been disbursed to escrow and the loan accountant has changed the commitment status from "commitment" to "active."
Loans (escrow)
Are considered "closed" once the funds have been disbursed to escrow and the loan accountant has changed the commitment status from "commitment" to "active."
