Lake Davis (Brazos River Basin)

Lake Davis is located about 4 miles south of Benjamin in Knox County, on Datchman Creek, a tributary of Brazos River.  It is owned by League Ranch Inc. (A Partnership) for irrigation purposes.  Construction of Lake Davis Dam was completed in 1959 with a capacity of about 5,454 acre-feet and surface area of about 585 acres at an elevation of about 1,417 feet above mean sea level.
