Guidance on Asset Management of Community Storm Water Systems

Project summary:
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) seeks to create a Guidance Tool for Effective Asset Management for Community Flood Infrastructure to assist entities in Texas responsible for Asset Management of their flood infrastructure.
Project deliverable(s):

TASK 1 DELIVERABLES
  1. Documentation of (10) meetings and site visits (cities, counties, MUD districts, drainage districts, etc., and relevant findings)
  2. A technical memorandum summarizing information collected and categorized through the literature reviews and interviews. The memo will include a summary of findings to guide efforts on remaining tasks, including a table of materials reviewed and the contexts of each.
  3. Response to TWDB review comments on the memo and meeting with the TWDB as necessary to resolve comments. Revisions will be part of the final draft submission.
  4. Final literature review document, to be included in the final project document as an appendix.
TASK 2 DELIVERABLES
  1. Brief outline of guidance document for TWDB review
  2. Presentation of the guidance document to gather feedback from TWDB and voluntary panel of relevant stakeholders
  3. Final outline based on feedback
  4. Final Submission
TASK 3 DELIVERABLES
  1. First draft of completed Guidance document with succinct executive summary, with presentation, for review. TWDB will also form a voluntary panel of relevant stakeholders to review the draft and incorporate feedback from external stakeholders.
  2. Second draft with previous comments resolved, submitted for another round of review.
  3. FA finalized PDF document, ready for internet posting, complete with bookmarks and all required sections listed above.
  4. Website Content: Text and other necessary materials for posting on the website.
  5. O&M Checklist Template.
