Relevant Board Memos
These recent TWDB Board memos are associated with the fifth cycle of regional water planning. Board memos are generated at various times during the planning cycle to authorize TWDB staff to approve contracts and budgets related to applications received, approve rule making processes, and other items. Board memos will be posted as they become available and will only be posted for two years following the Board meeting date.
- Uniform Standards for Project Prioritization of the Regional Water Plans (2/25/19) Consider approving the revised Uniform Standards for use by the regional water planning groups in prioritizing projects in their regional water plans, as updated by the Uniform Standards Stakeholder Committee.
- Amendment to the 2017 State Water Plan Consider amending the 2017 State Water Plan to incorporate an amendment to the 2016 Region L Regional Water Plan relating to a new recommended water management strategy project for the San Antonio Water System.
- Facilitation Contract for Uniform Standards Stakeholder Committee Prioritization Process (9/6/18) Consider authorizing a transfer of funds, in an amount not to exceed $15,000, from the Water Assistance Fund to the Research and Planning Fund, to contract for facilitation services to assist the stakeholders committee of regional water planning group chairs review and/or modify the uniform standards for project prioritization for the 2021 regional water plans.
- Minor Amendment to the 2016 South Central (Region L) Regional Water Plan (6/11/18) Consider approving the adopted minor amendment to the 2016 South Central Texas (Region L) Regional Water Plan and authorizing the Executive Administrator to hold the associated public hearing.
- Population projections for all Regional Water Planning Groups (4/16/18) Consider adopting population projections for all Regional Water Planning Groups for use in the 2021 Regional Water Plans and 2022 State Water Plan.
- Water demand projections for all Regional Water Planning Groups (4/16/18) Consider adopting water demand projections for all Regional Water Planning Groups for use in the 2021 Regional Water Plans and 2022 State Water Plan.
- Rulemaking - 31 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 355 relating to Regional Water Planning Grants and 357 relating to Regional Water Planning (3/21/18) Consider adopting amendments and new provisions to 31 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 355 relating to Regional Water Planning Grants and Chapter 357 relating to Regional Water Planning.
- Proposed Rulemaking - 31 Texas Administrative Code Chapters 355 and 357 (12/7/17) Consider authorizing publication of the proposed amendments and new provisions to 31 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 355 relating to Regional Water Planning Grants and Chapter 357 relating to Regional Water Planning.
- Amendment to the 2017 State Water Plan (12/7/17) Consider public comments received at public hearings held on November 8, 2017 and December 4, 2017, and if appropriate, amend the 2017 State Water Plan in accordance with 31 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §357.51(g) and §358.4(a).
