Hydrodynamic and Oil Spill Modeling: Corpus Christi Bay
Simulations presented on this web page show the speed and direction of water movement, i.e., currents, in Corpus Christi Bay. Currents are shown for a moving three-day window (beginning yesterday and finishing tomorrow) and slide forward each day. Flows are computed for about four weeks prior to today and extend through about a week beyond today, but only results for a three-day window are shown.
Corpus Christi Bay (Updated: ) Models are run and updated daily.
Corpus Christi Bay TxBLEND Modeled Currents with Associated Winds and Tides
Wind Vector Time Series
Vectors point in DIRECTION OF WIND FLOW; NOT in direction wind comes from. All times are in local (Central) Time

Scalar Displays of Wind
Scalar Direction displays direction wind comes FROM.
