Marathon Aquifer Groundwater Availability Model (GAM)

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) contracted with Daniel B. Stephens & Associates (DBS&A) to develop a conceptual model of the Marathon Aquifer in Texas. The conceptual model report will be available in 2022. TWDB will use this information to develop a Groundwater Availability Model for the Marathon Aquifer.

Stakeholder Advisory Forums (SAF)

The second SAF for the Marathon Aquifer Conceptual Model occurred in-person on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Marathon Elementary School Auditorium and was followed by a field trip on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The draft Marathon Aquifer Conceptual Model Completion Report is available for stakeholder review. Please submit written comments and suggestions by September 30, 2022 to Jean Perez
