Public Comment Period Clean and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Emerging Contaminants Funding Draft Intended Use Plans with Project Lists5/13/2024 at 10:30 AM

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is holding a period of public review and comment before the approval and adoption of the draft State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2024 State Revolving Fund (SRF) Intended Use Plans (IUPs) for the FFY 2023/SFY 2024 Clean and Drinking Water Emerging Contaminants Funding. These draft IUPs include the ranked Project Priority Lists. The only substantive revisions from the previous funding cycle’s IUP are the transfer of funds from the Clean Water SRF Emerging Contaminants funding allotment to the Drinking Water SRF Emerging Contaminants program due to limited demand and a revision to the rating criteria for projects to place more priority on projects in which the system has identified PFAs and the project will treat or remove the PFAs. Sufficient funds were retained for all Clean Water SRF Emerging Contaminants project proposals to be funded at the requested amount. Any funding provided would still be dependent upon the outcome of TWDB’s review of the project details in a submitted application.
