Files in each directory generally adhere to the following naming conventions: Files ending with extension .dxf were created with the arcdxf command in Arc/Info, are in data exchange format and are importable to AutoCad. Files ending with extension .e00 were created with the export command in Arc/Info and are importable to Arcview. Most directories contains the following files: *******----------------------------------------********* cont_x.dxf and cont_x.e00: where x can = 2, 5, or 10 foot contours. cont_anno, lake abbreviated names plus "ano", cont_txt.dxf and cont_txt.e00 all are contour annotations. Other forms may appear. _lk.dxf and .e00: lake boundary typically at conservation pool elevation. Most boundaries were digitized from USGS 7.5min topo sheets. Beginning in October 1998 when available the lake boundary is digitized from Digital Ortho Quads (found at www.tnris.state.tx.us) .gen: x,y,z data points collected during the TWDB Volumetric Survey. Data are in Arc/Info generate format (i.e., a leading "1", easting coordinate(ft), northing coordinate(ft), elevation(ft). elev_area_vol: elevation-area-volume data in columnar ascii text format, obtained from TWDB GIS analysis. area_table: ascii text in tabular format (area in acres). volume_table: ascii text in tabular format (volume in acre-feet). *******----------------------------------------********* All elevation are based on USGS Gage Datum. Projection info can be obtained from the lake boundary coverage using the DESCRIBE command.
