Texas Water Development Board approves a $290,000 loan to the Caddo Lake Water Supply Corporation (Harrison County) to finance water system improvements

AUSTIN - (October 17, 2013) - The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution a loan in the amount of $290,000 to the Caddo Lake Water Supply Corporation (Harrison County) from the Rural Water Assistance Fund to finance water system improvements.

The Caddo Lake Water Supply Corporation intends to use the funds to finance construction of a ground storage tank and rehabilitation of water system components.

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning and preparing the state water plan for the development of the state’s water resources. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
