News Release | Austin - June 20, 2013 The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $3,070,500 as follows:

- $1,071,500 in assistance to the City of Comanche (Comance County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $50,000 loan forgiveness to JJM Development, Inc., dba Valley Acres Mobile Home Park (El Paso County), to finance water system improvements;
- $225,000 loan and $224,000 grant to the City of Kosse (Limestone County) to finance water system improvements;
- $1,500,000 loan to the Bell County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (Bell County) to finance wastewater system improvements.
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning and preparing the State Water Plan for the development of the state's water resources. TWDB administers cost-effective financial programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
